DLS Safeguarding and Wellbeing Solutions Limited was formed in 2011 and is the culmination of over 30 years experience gained in education, training, consultancy, Social Care practice and the criminal justice system. We provide a range of creative safeguarding services and solutions. These include training, advice, refreshing or developing policies and procedures, supervision for Social Care and education staff, plus conference speaking Our services are appropriate for those working with children, young people, adults, at risk, parents and carers in a small voluntary group, large organisation or schools. We are happy to lead assemblies, attend staff/team meetings, contribute to CPD/inset days and support parents. We work locally, nationally and where required, internationally.

Having a policy and procedure in place and knowing what legal requirements you have to fulfil is important. Let our consultancy service offer you support, advice and guidance, allowing you to relax, be ready for inspection and remain compliant.

This in turn equips your staff with the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively, whilst ensuring legal compliance.
Daring To Be Different
Our experience has taught us that safeguarding requirements vary. You may wish to purchase a half or full day of our time and use it in a variety of different ways, e.g., training, advice, policy development, writing of Train the Trainer materials, supervision or anything else safeguarding related! We are delighted to provide that flexibility. You decide. You may only require an hour of our time and again, that flexibility is there. Only purchase what you need, when you need it.
Added Value
With our full-day training sessions, we offer a 6 weeks post delivery support period. During this time, we are happy to answer questions arising from the training itself or regarding putting it into practice. In addition, our full day training sessions also include a complimentary 45-minute safeguarding policy `health check’ to ensure your document works for you.
Balancing The Books
We appreciate that making sure your other priorities are covered can be a challenge. Therefore, to support your safeguarding endeavours, we can offer flexible payment terms, subject to discussion and payment of a deposit. There is also a discount for early settlement of invoices.
The Numbers
Hourly Rate – £60 + VAT
Half Day Training (3 1/4 hours) – £300 + travel and VAT. This will be charged either per session or per person. Depending on distance, accommodation may also be required.
Full Day Training (7 hours) – £625 + travel and VAT. This will be charged either per session or per person. Depending on distance, accommodation may also be required.
